I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the support you’ve given me as Councilman in the 7th District, and as Chairman of County Council.  It has been a privilege to serve as your representative.

I hope you’ll find this web site to be a useful resource on what’s happening in Dorchester County, and on the issues that matter most to residents in the 7th District. The site includes information about area legislation, and community links and contacts. There is also news about job creation and economic development, balanced growth initiatives, schools, road improvements, and a range of topics that impact our county.

I ran for County Council due to my concern for our citizens and our future. I wanted to ensure that the people who live here would be afforded a superior quality of life. My concerns were not only my own, but a reflection of my constituents. Constituent representation was always my priority. I answered every call and email, working hard to address your concerns. I encourage you to actively participate in local issues by attending public forums, group meetings and community events.

Many residents have talked with me about the issues important to them, and they have overwhelmingly advocated policies of planned growth and fiscal conservatism. We share a vision for the future based on keeping taxes low, attracting high quality jobs, and maintaining an excellent quality of life.

Dorchester County’s initiatives are now working to create an environment where businesses large and small can grow, where quality schools can flourish and roadways are adequate, and where county facilities are capable of serving all our residents.
