Jamie FelynerConstituent Services: I believe that above all else it is my responsibility to represent the people of District 7 who elected me. I have responded to and assisted every resident, Home Owners Association and community that has called upon me to address their concerns. Some of those concerns have included traffic through neighborhoods, water quality or water pressure, safety concerns for school children, and more recently, road design. Here are a few of the community issues I have assisted with, and the specific topics addressed:

Legend Oaks - Water quality, road signage, drainage issues and Highway 61 maintenance.
Westcott - Completion of Patriots Boulevard, addressed low water pressure and water bill concerns.
Irongate - DOT maintenance, flooding issues, and noise complaints.
Ashborough – Dorchester Road, County maintenance issues, flooding concerns from additional development.
Ashborough East – Dorchester Road, County maintenance issues.
Oakbrook Area – Quickly passed an ordinance to force establishments that serve alcohol to close at 2am.
Eagle Run, Old Fort Estates – Helped to remove obstacles and prevent further delays of improving Old Fort Road for the safety of the residents and the schools.
Quail Arbor – Funding for drainage improvements, road signage and code enforcement.

One of the best aspects of serving on County Council was recognizing young people, and their dedicated teachers, for their accomplishments. Pictured here are members of County Council with students in the Robotics Club, and their advisors.
